ISO 7048 Phillips Cheese Head Machine Screw

ISO 7048 Phillips Cheese Head Machine Screws are headed fasteners with external machine screw threads. Their head is similar to a pan head with a rounded top, straight sides and flat bearing surface, but their diameter is smaller than a like-sized pan head screw (DIN 7985) (slotted cheese heads have a flat top and angled sides). Mate with an internally tapped (threaded) hole or nut. Available in Class 4.8 zinc plated and stainless steel. Thread tolerance for plated steel is 6h and stainless steel is 6g; right-hand threads are standard. Length is measured from under the head to the tip. Actual head style may vary. ISO 7048 Phillips Cheese Head Machine Screws are similar to SN 213307. DIN 7980, High Collar Split Lock Washers, have a small outside diameter (OD) and are used with cheese head machine screws as are DIN 433 Small Pattern Flat Washers.
