DIN 914 Hex Socket Set Screw Cone Point

DIN 914 Hex Socket Set Screws Cone Point have a point with an angle of 120° or 90° based on size and length. This headless screw has external machine screw threads and is often used for the permanent location of parts because it affords the greatest axial and torsional holding power due to deep point penetration. In addition, they function as pivots and hanger points. A hex key or hex bit half the screw size is used to drive them except for sizes M1.6, M2, M2.5, M14, M18 and M22. Available in plain finish Class 45H steel and stainless steel. Thread tolerance is 5g6g for steel and 6g for stainless steel; right-hand threads are standard. Use in compression since they are not intended to be tensile loaded. Length is measured from end to end. DIN 914 Hex Socket Set Screws Cone Point are the same as ISO 4027.
