DIN 913 Hex Socket Set Screw Flat Point

DIN 913 Hex Socket Set Screws Flat Point are headless screws with external machine screw threads. Since its flat point causes minimal damage to the mating surface, it's often used in applications where parts are frequently adjusted or relocated. They can be used against hardened shafts—with or without a ground flat—as well as with thin-walled and soft materials. Drive using a hex key or hex bit half the size of the screw except for sizes M1.6, M2, M2.5, M14, M18 and M22. Class 45H steel, plain finish, and stainless steel can be provided. The thread tolerance for steel is 5g6g and 6g for stainless steel; right-hand threads are standard. Since they are not recommended for tensile loads, use in compression only. Measure length from end to end. DIN 913 Hex Socket Set Screws Flat Point are the same as ISO 4026.
