DIN 85 A Slotted Pan Head Machine Screws
DIN 85 A Slotted Pan Head Machine Screws have a flat or slightly rounded top, straight sides and a flat bearing surface. Pan head is a popular general purpose head style and its external machine screw threads mate with internally threaded holes and nuts; the "A" suffix is used to indicate it is fully threaded. Supplied in Class 4.8 steel, zinc plated, and stainless steel. In addition, there is a limited selection of Class 8.8 zinc plated steel. For stainless steel, thread tolerance is 6g and it's 6h for plated steel; right-hand threads are standard. Measure screw length from under the head to the tip. The shape of some heads may differ slightly. DIN 85 A Slotted Pan Head Machine Screws are similar to ISO 1580, JIS B1101 and ANSI B18.6.7M.
