DIN 7500 D Hex Washer Head Thread Rolling Screw

DIN 7500 D Hex Washer Head Thread Rolling Screws have an unslotted indented hex washer head and trilobular thread rolling (forming) machine screw threads. Known for low installation drive torque but superior prevailing torque that resists loosening caused by vibration, they do not create chips like thread cutting screws as they form and work harden the mating material. A drilled or punched pilot hole is needed. Select zinc plated steel or stainless steel. Right-hand threads are standard. Measure length of the screw from under the head to the tip. They are similar to DIN 7500 D (denoted as ~DIN 7500 D).
