DIN 433 Small Pattern Flat Washers

DIN 433 Small Pattern Flat Washer

DIN 433 Small Pattern Flat Washers, without chamfer, are flat washers with a small outside diameter, which is about 2 times their nominal size and about 12% smaller than a regular flat washer (small sizes are as much as 2.5 times their nominal size and 21% smaller than a regular washer while large sizes can be about 1.7 times and 8% smaller). "Without chamfer" indicates that the outside edge of one side is not beveled. Use with small diameter heads like socket head cap and cheese head screws. Zinc plated and plain finish (no rust protection) steel and stainless steel are available. Use Hardness Class 140 HV washers only with bolts and screws below Class 8.8 and nuts below Class 8. The screw size dictates the washer size and washer size is based on its nominal hole size (for instance, use an M4 washer with an M4 screw). DIN 433 Small Pattern Flat Washers may be the same as ISO 7092.
