External C Retaining Rings

C Clips, C Rings, External Crescent Retaining Rings, Shaft Rings

External C Retaining Rings are ideal in low-clearance situations especially where exposed lugs are neither required nor desirable. They are radially installed and snap into a machined groove in the shaft from the side. C Retaining Rings have a smaller profile than External E Retaining Rings. They are an economical alternative to axially assembled external retaining rings but the allowable thrust loading is lower.
