Wound in a spiral, Coiled Spring Pins align parts and hold them in position. Because of their coiled-spring action, they can be used with out-of-tolerance, out-of-round and irregularly-shaped holes. They also absorb vibration and shock better than regular spring pins. Ends are beveled (chamfered) to simplify insertion.
