Beveled Washers

Beveled washers are square and while one bearing surface is flat, the other has an oblique (sloping) angle. Used in structural applications, they are designed for leveling and shimming purposes and are commonly used when bolting through the flanges of I-beams.

Beveled washers are available in a hardened version, meeting the requirements of F436/A325/A490, and as malleable. Finishes for malleable beveled washers include plain finish—they have not been surface treated to prevent rust—and hot dip galvanized.

Beveled Washers are also known as: 

hillside washers.
