These screws are designed to fasten wood to metal. The drill point first drills through the wood then the metal. The assembly is fastened when the screw is threaded into the metal. If equipped with wings, the clearance hole through the wood will be enlarged to allow the threaded section to follow without obstruction. When completed, the flat screw heads are flush with the surface. Wood to Metal Screws are ideal for fastening plywood or similar material to metal. Measure length from the top of the screw to the tip.
