Expansion Caulk-In Anchors consist of a pre-assembled internally machine screw threaded expander cone and lead alloy caulking sleeve. Use in concrete, block, brick and stone. A setting tool (required) matched to the anchor size pushes the caulking sleeve into the hole as the expander cone causes it to expand and fill the hole. Use with cap screws and other machine screw threaded fasteners. Caulk-In Anchors require a larger hole than comparably sized Drop-In Anchors but are available for smaller screw diameters and, because of their short length, are ideal for shallow holes. Do not use this anchor in overhead applications.
