DIN 127 B Split Lock Washers Flat Ends

DIN 127 B Split Lock Washer Flat Ends

DIN 127 B Split Lock Washers Flat Ends are split helical spring washers that are said to provide a spring-like take-up action and preload to resist thrust-induced loosening; these washers are designed for bolted joints with right-hand threads. When installed under the head they should be used with large heads like hex, pan and round. "Flat ends" means the bearing surface of the washer will be flat when fully compressed. For small diameter heads like socket head cap and cheese head screws, use high collar split lock washers. Available in spring steel, zinc plated and plain finish (susceptible to rust), stainless steel and spring bronze. The size of a washer is specified as its nominal hole size and should match the screw size (to illustrate, an M6 washer matches an M6 screw). DIN 127 B Split Lock Washers have a larger OD and are thinner than DIN 7980. DIN 128 A is recommended for new designs.

Product Filter Help

It's easy and fast to find the exact item you're looking for using these filters. Depending on the item, you can filter by Size (diameter and thread), Length, Grade/Class, Material and Finish/Plating. Here's how…

  • Click in a Select box to view the options. It may be necessary to scroll to see the entire list. The number of matching items is displayed in parentheses ( ).
  • Click on the desired item and -- Select -- will change to 1 Selected. You can select more than one item in each Select box. For example, you can select two sizes and 1 Selected will change to 2 Selected.
  • Click in other Select boxes and make more choices. Available options will be based on selections you've already made.
  • Even though there are thousands of fasteners to choose from a particular material or finish may not be available in every size and length. So, try different combinations of filters like Size, Grade and Material to see matching Lengths and Finishes.
  • To deselect a single filter option, click in the Select box and click on the selected option. It will appear at the top of the list in bold. To clear all filter selections, click on the Clear Filters button.

Even after filtering there may be several pages of items. The number of pages will be displayed to the left of the Add All Selected Items button. Click on a page number or the arrows to page forward and back.
